Special Education
Ms. Brenda Lue Clark-Gales, Counselor/Special Education Coordinator
Ms. Clark-Gales holds a B.A. in Elementary Education from Northwestern University and an M.S. in Counseling from the University of the District of Columbia. In addition, she has pursued post-graduate courses at Catholic University in Special Education. She became a teacher in 2000 because she believes she has a special gift for work with children. She came to Ludlow-Taylor as a professional counselor and has always been involved in character education and with encouraging students to achieve their fullest potential. Ms. Clark-Gales has been at Ludlow-Taylor since 2005.

Mr. Clyde Smith, Kindergarten Transition
Mr. Smith earned his B.S in Social Work from Morgan State University and his Master’s degree in Special Education from Coppin State University. Before joining the staff of Ludlow-Taylor, Mr. Smith taught in the Baltimore City Public Schools. Mr. Smith has always wanted to be a teacher and loves that Ludlow-Taylor is small enough that he can know everyone. When he’s not teaching or planning his school days, Mr. Smith likes to read and take short trips to New York.
Ms. Bianca Alexander, Special Ed. Math Resources
Since last year, Ms. Alexander provides math services to students at Ludlow-Taylor. She received her Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and French. She received her Master of Arts in Instructional Technology and Design at the University of Akron and a Master of Science in Education Law at Nova Southeastern University. Ms. Alexander has taught in Ohio, Maryland, and Florida. When a student says, "I got it!" she is especially thrilled. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys reading, learning new things, and meeting new people.
