4th and 5th Grade
Ms. Alecia Francis, 4th Grade
Ms. Francis holds a B.A. in Administration of Justice and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Howard University. She’s been at Ludlow-Taylor for 11 years and previously taught in the Boston Public School system. It makes her day when she sees her students master new concepts and skills.
"I think that the diverse student population that we serve here is pretty special. The level of commitment and dedication of Ludlow-Taylor's staff to provide each student a world-class education also makes Ludlow-Taylor a special place. I believe that each and every child that walks through my door deserves a high-quality education, and it is my responsibility to provide a positive learning environment that ensures that they can work to their fullest potential."
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Francis enjoys traveling, reading and water sports.
Ms. Keisha Henderson, 5th Grade
Ms. Henderson has a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Elementary Education, both from Howard University. She has been teaching at Ludlow-Taylor for 12 years. She loves the sense of family she feels at Ludlow-Taylor.
Because she has been at Ludlow-Taylor for so long, she can draw from the strong relationships she has with many parents and staff members. It makes her day when the most challenging student makes a substantial change and begins to work harder to reach their potential as a student.
Outside of the classroom, Ms. Henderson likes to read, spend time with her family and pretend she is an interior decorator!
